Is a mistake

Today, I was delivering on of our product to my friend. It was a mistake to ride the e-scooter to deliver the product. It just happened that i was riding the e-scooter back home after a delivery work. So i was thinking, why not just use the e-scooter to deliver since its nearby.



From this, it turn into this

This is how it happen

I was riding smoothly until i cross the zebra crossing. A little traffic accident happen and I tilted the scooter. I was lucky that the product did not fall off the scooter but i know its mess up inside from the angle dropped my scooter. When I was near the destination I took a peep inside and yes it was really messed up. I have to run to the toilet and fix the product. It was the first time that this happen so i kind of panic, in my mind i was just thinking "Faster fix it and deliver".

I did "fixed" it but i didn't think of comparing it with the photo before delivering it. There, I delivered it and received the cash.

It didn't end here


When i reached home, I decide to look at the photo that was taken during the photo shoot. To my horror , the "fixed" product is different from the original. I was thinking if it would be bad if the customer find out that the product is different from the photo she saw and gave us a bad impression.

Solution to a messed up delivery

I decided to text my friend about the product, apologize and said that its different from the photo. I even offer to travel and get the product back near her house. On the day itself, Jia Cheng manage to fix his product and i delivered it back to her door step at night.

Here's the lesson learnt:

1) To minimize any accident i should have use the public transport.

2) Reach earlier during any delivery, check the item and compare with the original photo make sure it the same.

3) If it different, do not deliver, fix it and reschedule the delivery date.
